Not all pets require haircuts each month (or ever in the case some breeds). However, it’s a common misconception that dogs do not need to be bathed monthly. A dog’s skin cell cycle is 21 days so every 3-4 weeks, the skin and coat need to be properly washed and moisturized for optimum skin and coat health. Their nails, ears, eye corners, and sanitary areas also need to be cleaned and trimmed regularly for proper health & hygiene. Our Pampered Pooch appointment membership is designed to do all of that and more! We will keep your pets fully maintained from their nose to their toes with our specially designed all inclusive luxury care packages.

Recommended for minor shedders or dogs kept in short, manageable trims.
Dapper Dog
Pre-scheduled bi-weekly appointments in one of the following configurations:
bi-weekly Bath package
alternating bi-weekly Bath and Groom packages
Recommended for heavy shedders or dogs kept in stylized or semi-fluffy trims.
Posh Pooch
Pre-scheduled weekly appointments in one of the following configurations:
weekly Bath package
three weekly Bath package plus one Groom package monthly
Recommended for dogs kept in long, fluffy trims or pets who want to look (and smell!) their best all month long.
How does it work?
How do I get started?
At your next visit to Barkhaven, just let us know you’d like to join our Pampered Pooch monthly appointment program and we’ll get your pup set up on a pre-booked schedule of every 4 weeks or less through the end of the year.
*In order to enroll in the Pampered Pooch membership, you will need to have had a pet who’s had a grooming service at Barkhaven within the last 2 months. Consultation visits will be required for all new clients before joining.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel an appointment?
Not a problem! However, as your pup will be off of their pre-booked schedule, your next appointment will be at non-member price, and your pet may require more time, care, and attention. This will be reflected in the final price for the appointment.
If your current pre-booked schedule no longer fits your daily routine, let us know and we can re-work your current appointments to better fit your busy schedule.
